Race Report - Harley Self

On July 12th, Jake, Connor, and I took on the 24 Hours of Spa. I was on qualifying duty and ended up putting us mid-pack — not where we hoped to be, but it gave us something to work with over a long race.

I started the race and managed to make up a few spots pretty quickly, getting us into P10. After my stint, Jake jumped in and kept things clean, moving us up to P9.

Connor got in next and absolutely sent it — his pace was mega and he pushed us right up into the podium spots. Jake got back in for a double and held it down with super consistent laps, keeping us in the fight.

Then Connor got back behind the wheel and just took it to another level. By the end of his double stint, we were leading. I jumped in again after that and focused on keeping things tidy, held onto the lead through my full double stint.

Everything was looking solid until around hour 22. Tom got in for his stint, but unfortunately had a crash that put us in the wall and ended our race. Just like that, it was over.

Tough way to finish after all the effort we put in, but honestly — we showed strong pace, worked together really well, and proved we could run at the front. We’ll take what we learned and come back stronger.
