Azz Tech Racing League - Finally

Final round of the Azz Tech Racing League at Daytona and it couldn’t have been much closer.

Qualifying went perfectly and we managed to put the car on pole, which was the ideal start going into the championship decider. Coming into the race we knew we needed the win to take P1 in the championship, so the pressure was definitely on.

The race itself turned into a proper fight at the front. The top three of us were together pretty much the whole race, swapping time back and forth and keeping it really tight the entire way. It was one of those races where any small mistake could make the difference.

Unfortunately that’s exactly what happened. A small mistake late on cost just enough time to lose the shot at the win. After that it was about holding on and bringing the car home.

We crossed the line P3 in the race, which meant P2 in the championship overall.

A bit frustrating to come so close to the title, but still a great season and an awesome final race at Daytona.
