Azz Tech Racing League - Round 5

Race Report - Hélder M. Fernandes

Round 5 at Fuji was a tough one from the moment the lights went out. The full 1000km was packed with fighting and hard racing, with constant battles through every stint and no real chance to settle in. Traffic played a big role, and strategy kept changing as the race went on, which meant staying sharp the entire time.

We were either defending or pushing forward most of the race, and the gaps never stayed comfortable. The racing was close but fair, and consistency over such a long distance was absolutely critical. Any small mistake could’ve easily undone hours of work.

As the race came together toward the end, it was all about keeping it clean and bringing the car home. In the end, we managed to secure the class win. A huge team effort and a very satisfying result after one of the hardest races of the season at Fuji.
