SimGear Endurance Series - Round 1

Race Report - Jack Mowat

Round 1 of SimGear at Sebring done – 130 laps in the LMP2 and what a race to start the season.

From the start we had really strong pace and spent most of the race right at the front. It basically turned into a cat and mouse fight with Peribot, trading time back and forth and keeping the pressure on each other through the stints.

For most of the race we were dominating and it looked like it was going to come down to the final part of the race between us. Unfortunately I had a small spin later on which cost a bit of time and that was enough to take us out of the fight for the win.

After that it was about bringing it home clean, and we crossed the line P2.

Bit frustrating knowing the win was possible, but still a really strong result to start the season and a great race with Peribot all the way through.
